Russell Newbold
President and CEO of Bold Control Inc.
Mr. Newbold gained his professional experience in Commercial Real Estate Construction Loan Servicing during his employment with First Security Bank and Wells Fargo Bank. From 1995 until 2002, Mr. Newbold managed the Construction Disbursement Department’s $500-million portfolio. He has successfully serviced more than $8.5 billion in construction loan disbursements. Areas of experience include: project monitoring from groundbreaking through takeout; personal on-site reviews of construction projects in conjunction with submitted draw requests; reviews of third-party inspection reports; reviews of plans in conjunction with inspections; management of Borrower and Contractor applications for payment, budget and change order management, progress and final lien reviews, preliminary lien notice reviews, authorized loan funding disbursements to Borrowers and Contractors, and project close-out.
From 1990 until 1995, Mr. Newbold engaged in term servicing at First Security Bank and Western Mortgage. His responsibilities included internal quality compliance, implementation of loan covenants, loan sourcing, title policy reviews, insurance policy reviews, interest rate adjustments for LIBOR/Prime loans, participation loan management and monitoring, standardization of loan documents, processing principal reductions/payoffs/interest payments. This unique banking experience has allowed Mr. Newbold to understand the needs of Construction Lenders and he has used this knowledge to help them monitor and reduce lending risk.

Zack Newbold
Vice President of Bold Control
Zack worked with Bold Control between 2004 to 2010 and returned to the company in 2015. He is dedicated to performing thorough, detailed inspections. Zack’s keen eye for detail is essential for this line of work. During his time with Bold Control, Inc, he has assisted in servicing more than $2.4 billion in Construction Loan Disbursement and has inspected projects throughout Utah, Idaho, Nevada, Wyoming, and Colorado.
Zack has provided high level inspections on projects ranging from simple residential remodels, to high end commercial office buildings. The experience gained by reviewing a variety of projects has provided Zack with critical and essential knowledge of the construction industry and the ability to understand the various scopes of work for all trades involved in the construction process. This attention to detail provides lenders and owners with confidence in their lending decisions.
During Zack’s time away from Bold Control, he worked as the shipment coordinator for Black Market Labs, a fitness supplement company. Zack’s attention to detail improved company efficiency in the warehouse, and provided important feedback on warehouse processes that provided the company with cost savings and waste reduction.

Keaton Newbold
Vice President of Bold Control
Keaton has been with Bold Control since 2016. He is a motivated, hard-working, time-sensitive professional dedicated to providing the best service, analysis, and reports to our clients. During his time with Bold Control, Inc, he has assisted in more than $1.5 Billion in Construction Loan Disbursements.
Keaton graduated from Utah Valley University in 2020 with a degree in Construction Management.
While pursuing his degree, Keaton interned with Okland Construction as a Project Engineer. During his internship he performed daily quality control inspections, weekly progress inspections, and took minutes during weekly OAC meetings. He assisted in reviewing drawings and communicating with the architect about plan deficiencies and changes, and performing submittal tasks for work to be performed onsite. This time with Okland Construction provided Keaton with critical industry knowledge.
Other professional experience: Fetzer Architectural Woodworking as a Technician, and Volunteer Representative for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

M’kynzi Lundgreen
Fund Control Agent
M’kynzi worked with Bold Control between 2006 and 2014, and returned to the company in 2020. She works with the Fund Control Department and analyzes draw documentation to provide highly detailed, professional reports.
M’kynzi graduated with a Bachelors of Arts from the University of Utah in 2010 and then pursued and received a Master of Public Administration degree from the Marriott School of Management at Brigham Young University in 2014.
Upon graduation M’kynzi worked for the City of San Antonio, Texas, in several offices: the Center City Development Office, the Office of Management & Budget, the Women’s Leadership and Mentoring Program, and the City Manager’s Office. She returned to Utah in 2017 as a Legislative Policy Analyst for the Utah State Legislature. There she staffed the Business and Labor committees and provided state legislators with policy analysis regarding these issues.
Jentzen Newbold
Field Inspector
Jentzen has been working with Bold Control since 2018. He manages the coordination of several residential portfolios throughout the western United States and reviews residential and commercial properties throughout the State of Utah. Jentzen is committed to producing accurate, clear, and professional reports.
Jentzen is studying psychology and political science at Brigham Young University. He will graduate in December 2024.
